Andrew Henderson (rugby league)
:''Not to be confused with Andrew Henderson (rugby union).''
Andrew Henderson (born 17 June 1979 in Torquay, Devon) is a former English Professional rugby league footballer and the currently the head coach at the London Broncos since the 2nd March 2015.
A Scotland international representative hooker, he previously played for Gateshead Thunder, Castleford Tigers, Balmain Tigers, Salford, Barrow and Sheffield Eagles.

Henderson began his professional career in England in 2001 with super league side Salford City Reds. With limited opportunies there, Henderson moved to Northern Ford Premiership club Barrow Raiders for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He captained the raiders for the 2003 season. Soon after, Super League side Widnes Vikings snapped up Henderson for a trial period, in which he featured for them in the 2004 Sydney World Sevens tournament, and a match against the Wests Tigers. He failed to agree a deal and subsequently joined the Wests Tigers, captaining their premier league side Balmain Tigers.
Henderson joined Castleford Tigers in 2005 and was made captain by then coach Dave Woods gaining promotion to the super league. He lost the captaincy for the 2006 super league season. In 2007 he was made captain again by Terry Matterson for the NL1 campaign and again the club gained promotion. In 2008 Henderson lost the captaincy again for super league. This was to be his final season for Castleford after himself and the club failed to come to an agreement over a new deal. Henderson wanted to stay and made it clear to the fans in the final game of the season. The Castleford fans also wanted Henderson to stay and in the final home game the fans sung his name and chanted 'Sign him on!'
Henderson, along with brother Kevin were set to take the Rugby Football League to court over rules changes to the current quota system, which they felt would affect their super league careers. He signed for Championship side Gateshead Thunder soon after.
Henderson spent only one season with Gateshead even though he had signed for 2 years. The Club were faced with financial problems and a shareholders dispute. This forced Henderson to look elsewhere and he joined Championship winners Barrow Raiders in the 2009 close season on a 2-year deal. Following a contract dispute with Barrow he signed for Sheffield Eagles towards the end of the 2010 season.
Henderson became a player/coach at Sheffield in 2012, and remained in this position until the end of the 2014 season, where he then moved to London Broncos as assistant manager following their relegation from Super League. He was made interim head coach after round 3 and appointed permanent head coach after round 5 with a 22-18 win over Halifax R.L.F.C in round 6.
The Hendersons are a Scottish family and all three brothers play for Scotland at international level. Henderson began his International career in 2003 featuring in the European Nations Cup. He went on to make 17 test appearances in European competitions and 5 World Cup appearances in 2008 and 2013 finishing his international career in Scotland's World Cup quarter final match against New Zealand in Leeds.
All three brothers featured in the Scotland squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
